The boy who cried wolf

The boy who cried wolf

You think you’re clever, peaceful and clean
But constantly unraveling at each tangled seam
You preach for peace, inclusion, tolerance and love
By spouting intolerance, segregation and hate

Back pedal, deny, delete and ignore
Challenging anyone and everyone with insults galore
The despicable treatment of your fellow man
By slander and crying whenever you can

You are an inspiration in every wrong way
You bring people together every day
But not like you think, it’s not at all good
You’re like the grim reaper cloaked with black hood

I call you a boy because you’re not yet a man
A real man doesn’t play games
So try to grow up if you can
It will be a difficult task but with some reflection, I’m sure
You could practice and practice til your heart becomes pure

Passive aggressive and narcissistic traits
Will come round to bite you, that is called fate
Karma has started and it will role on
All that you give will to you return upon

Until you stop acting with your foolish charade
Lining folk up for your shooting parade
I admire your qualities although all I despise

Your pathetic attention seeking
And visions of wolf
that you cry
