Claims to represent Muslim Council of Britain on BBC The Big Questions
After appearing on BBC The Big Questions at Southampton in 2008, Mohammed Ansar claimed to represent the Muslim Council of Britain.
At that point in time, the Muslim Council of Britain had never heard of Mohammed Ansar, and wrote to the BBC to complain.

Sometime between 19 January 2012 ref and 10 February 2012, Mohammed Ansar became Education Secretary for the Muslim Council of Britain ref.
Ansar was removed from this positon sometime after 27 August 2012 and before 20th September 2012.
